According to the structure, torque limiters are mainly divided into two categories

       1、 Friction type torque limiter

Advantages: low price, simple structure, convenient disassembly and maintenance

Disadvantages: torque accuracy is not high, can not output signal after overload, need to stop the machine manually, there is residual torque after overload.

        2、 Steel ball torque limiter

Advantages: quick response after overload, high accuracy of setting torque, long service life, equipped with a micro switch, it can output electrical signal after overload to facilitate alarm or automatic stop motor.

Disadvantages: the price is higher than the friction type.
