First of all, we need to know how big a torque value the drive end needs to drive under normal working conditions.

For example, if the force required by the transmission end is 100Nm under normal working conditions, then generally the torque value set by our torque limiter is multiplied by a safety factor of 1.3-1.5 on this torque. If the machine speed is fast, the safety factor can be improved. Some, on the contrary, if the speed is slower, the safety factor can be reduced a bit accordingly.
